Heatime - Standalone Automatic Heat Detection
Reliable detection of estrus (heat) is a key factor for successful breeding when artificial insemination is used. Research shows that the estrus period in dairy cows can sometimes last for less than 8 hours, and a significant share of the heats occure over night.
Heatime is and advanced, compact, and cost-effective system for detection of estrus in dairy cows and buffalo herds. The system was designed for dairy herds of 50-600 heads, sometimes operated by a small staff. Using Heatime will improve the fertility rates and calving cycles, reduce "days open" and expenses of semen. The detection is based on SCR's unique ID & Activity Technology. This technology enables to record the total activity for the cow for every 2 hours and provide the farmer with information no the best time for insemination. Sophisticated software cut to minimize the false alarms, which are common in other systems. An optional automatic sorting gate saves additional time and work.
Heatime comprises of a small control box and compact ID-Units (up to 4), enabling simple installation and operation on any farm. The user-friendly interface does not require previous knowledge of computers.
Menus are currently available in: English, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, French, and Slovenian.
